Summary
New Age Naielle Bluesteel (ANaielle) is a utility frontline tank who contributes a variety of debuffs scattered throughout her kit.
ANaielle is hindered by her woefully inadequate stats. In her current state, it is difficult to assess the impact of her kit. On paper, ANaielle’s low base stats are supposed to be compensated for by her 3s Iron Wall self-buff, triggered every 24 hits. In practice, it does little to bolster her survivability; the situations where this is actually relevant can be counted on one hand.
PVE Review
ANaielle finds value in PVE through her ATK% debuffs, which can be used in tandem with other ATK% debuffers (e.g. Ministra) to cripple enemy damage output. This gives her a niche in situations where survivability is enough of a concern to warrant dedicated team building to combat. ANaielle fits well into existing (sophisticated) Tyrant Gigas strategies that revolve around the heavy stacking of ATK% debuffs.
PVP Review
ANaielle’s survivability issues are extremely pronounced in a competitive environment. It’s an uphill battle to keep her alive and even when you manage to do so, her kit doesn’t compare with what is offered by other awakened frontline options. There is little reason to consider ANaielle as an option for any team.
