Ramlethal Valentine is a bulky frontline tank that is notable for her high uptime DMG RDC, perfect evasion buffs, and a counter on the special skill.
Ramlethal can be a beginner-friendly generalist unit with good coverage but, like many frontline tanks without strong identities, begins to show her faults the further you progress. Ramlethal does not transition well into high-end PVE because team slots are limited, and units that excel in a particular niche tend to contribute more value than generalists.
As a PVP unit, Ramlethal is a complete package. She provides:
Remarkable Survivability: Non-ASSR strikers generally struggle to stay alive, and as a result have largely disappeared from PVP. Ramlethal breaks the mold as one of the tankiest strikers in the game, competing even with many mainstay defenders for the frontline role on PVP teams.
Personal Damage Output: Frontline tanks typically do not have the luxury of stacking anything but DMG RES% substats on their gear, often at the expense of personal damage output. Ramlethal’s built-in current %HP damage allows her to still apply pressure without any cost to survivability.
COUNTER(!): The counterattack on her special can be used creatively to negate a variety of skill effects. Contrasting other units with counterattacks, Ramlethal’s counterattack comes with a unique delay that can make it difficult to time.
Of note, Ramlethal’s survivability comes primarily from her whopping 50% DMG RDC, amplified further by her perfect EVA self-buff. This also means she is exceptionally vulnerable when those buffs are dispelled. Consider the prevalence of buff removal on a given week when opting to run Ramlethal in your team.
