Review: Nov 2025
Unlike her Ranger counterpart, Garnet (Rapture) brings a variety of buffs and utilities to the party.
Passive: Game Start - All enemies receive 3 stacks of Carrot Coins - these are removed via her S1 and Main. Upon losing all 3 stacks, Garnet restores her party’s mana and stuns the enemy, dealing damage and reapplying the stacks. All allies gain bonus mana recovery while Garnet’s active.
Main: Welcome to the Show: Garnet applies a shield, a lifesteal buff and Showtime to her party. When an ally with Showtime uses their main skills, inflict Bleed and remove a Carrot Coin. Garnet cannot gain mana for 8 seconds.
S1: Wild Card - Garnet attacks the nearest enemy, dealing AOE damage and removing a Carrot Coin. Also inflicts - Unlucky, which deals Bleed and removes a Coin if not cleansed.
S2: VVIP - Garnet applies a shield to the ally with the highest attack and all allies within 3m, cleansing 1 debuff and increasing their Crit Rate and Crit DMG.
Ultimate: Garnet Time - Garnet massively increases her party’s ATK while lowering their DEF, while inflicting Bleed to all enemies.
Artifact Skill: Night of Rapture - While Garnet is active, any main skill cast applies Rapture to her party (max 10 stacks), increasing their ATK, Lifesteal and Damage Dealt (L+ Art)
In a meta heavily dominated by debuffs, Garnet pivots into providing boatloads of Mana, Mana Recovery, Shield, Lifesteal, ATK% (upwards of 40% at max Artifact, 100% with ultimate), Crit Rate, Crit Damage and % DMG Dealt instead. As far as the Raid fanatics are concerned, this much is already playworthy for most general raid comps. Garnet is also capable of dispelling and cleansing, but these utilities are far too unreliable to be of note and must be speed-tuned/ aided by other support characters. (Most of the current raid bosses in rotation don’t really care much about Dispel anyway.)
Of course, it is not without her drawbacks - Garnet’s ATK% and CDMG buffs are tied to her Carrot Coins and main skill casts. There is a notable ramp time for her buffs to reach maximum potency, leaving her out of the mix for PvE applications like Battlefront. Her ultimate is also a double-edged sword, which reduces the party’s defense, leaving this ultimate best used for burst windows.
Garnet needs to focus on her artifact to gain access to her ATK and DMG dealt buffs
Legendary+ is mandatory for access to the vast majority of her kit. Everything else is available via levels, so she’s relatively cheap to build. Any upgrades to her ascensions will boost her survivability.
Garnet is easily a no-brainer to build - Most supports are always universal and long-lasting, and players can get up to TWO copies for free from her featured event.
An insane number of utilities and buffs.
Cheap to build.
Bunny girl.
Artifact upgrades are mandatory for her offensive buffs.
Requires ramp time.
