Jiho (Mir)Build and Guide

Jiho (Mir) is an INT Debuff Warrior Human Soul (Released 17 Apr 2025) that builds up, obtains, and consumes various buffs to empower her skill multipliers and inflict various debuffs while dispelling enemy buffs.

• Passive: Cleansing Current - The core of her kit, using any ally's main skill, will give Jiho stacks of “Cleansing Current” at the end of the skill. (Max 5 stacks).  Jiho’s Normal attacks also deal additional damage and inflict “Overflush” (15% Slow for 12 seconds).

• Main: Clear Wave Dragon - Deals Damage to nearest enemy, consuming all active stacks of “Cleansing Current” to deal 220% additional damage per stack.  If 4 or more stacks of “Cleansing Current” are consumed, the skill dispels 4 buffs, gains “Clashing Current” and “Clear Current”. If 5 stacks are consumed: Grants 1 more stack of “Cleansing Current”.

• S1: Clashing Current Slash - Deals AOE Dmg (2.5m x 11m range) to the furthest enemies in range, dispelling a buff.  If 3 stacks of “Cleansing Current”; or “Clashing Current” is active, the skill deals additional Dmg, dispels 1 more buff, and inflicts “Raging Surge” (30% ATK shred for 12 seconds). “Clashing Current” is consumed.

• S2: Clear Current Shatter - Deals AOE Dmg (3m radius) to enemies in range while dispelling 2 buffs. If 3 stacks of “Cleansing Current”; or “Clear Current” is active, it deals additional Dmg, dispels 2 more buffs, and inflicts “Pure Submersion” (30% DEF shred for 12 seconds). “Clear Current” is consumed.

• Ultimate: Turbulent Waves: Deals 420% AOE Dmg (3.5m by 11m range) to nearest enemies in range, dealing additional damage and applies the following effects for each of her debuffs active:

  • If “Overflush” is active: dispels 4 buffs.

  • If “Raging Surge” is active: inflicts 35% “Damage Dealt decrease” for 8 seconds.

  • If “Pure Submersion” is active: inflicts 35% “Damage Received increase” for 8 seconds.

  • If all 3 debuffs are active: Inflicts “Submersion” (100% damage per 2 seconds, for 30 seconds. This damage can land as a critical hit).

• Artifact: Flowing Soul:  If “Clashing Current” is consumed while S1 is cast: All allies gain 10% to 40% Crit Dmg for 12 seconds (18 seconds/ 24 seconds at L+/ OG art). If “Clear Current” is consumed while S2 is cast: All allies recover 50% to 100% HP (equal Caster’s ATK) every 3 seconds for 6/9/12 seconds and cleanses 1 debuff.

Jiho (Mir) is a clear example of “too many cooks spoiling the soup”. On paper, Jiho’s newest incarnation looks monstrous – a 1420% Main, a 840% Ultimate with 1500% Damage over Time, empowered Normal attacks, 5 different debuffs, and she can even buff ally Critical Damage, recover their HP and Cleanse debuffs. Jiho can potentially function as a Main DPS and a support Debuffer at once, compressing the Healer, Debuffer and DPS role into one.

However, Jiho needs to jump through a series of hoops to achieve that status.  She needs to gain and consume stacks of “Cleansing Current” to fuel her Main and regain buffs; her buffs must be active for her Sub Skills to inflict debuffs; and her debuffs must be active to ensure maximum impact on her Ultimate. Her best debuffs are also locked behind her Ultimate, which might be a huge opportunity cost for many teams. The problems are also worsened with low debuff durations, requiring careful manual play to maximize her kit.  

Investment

As a DPS, we always recommend Origin Ascension and L+ artifact as a baseline. Jiho (Mir) has access to her full suite of debuffs without investment; further investment on either will improve her personal DPS, recovery, and buffing capabilities.

Team Synergies

Jiho (Mir) can reliably fit into a multitude of comps, but greatly appreciates Speed and Mana support to gain more stacks of Flowing Current. As an INT type character, her Crit Rate is also quite low; a unit like Eve or Hanul that can boost her Crit Rate will help improve her damage.

Conclusion

To summarize it with a pun - It’s so Mihover. Jiho (Mir) holds promise; but is held back by the complexity of her kit and short debuff durations. For the time being, it might be better to hold off on pulling for her until either further testing, additional new soul releases, or a balance patch unearths her potential.
