VepleyBuild and Guide

Character
Introduction

Vepley is a SSR character from the Vanguard class who wields a weapon from the Shotgun category (Vepr-12). She was originally released on December 21st, 2023 in China and on December 3rd, 2024 in Global.

A lively and cute "idol" figure. She is good at understanding the emotions of the people around him and is committed to performing performances that bring happiness to everyone - if he could better distinguish between the performance target and the situation, he would definitely be more popular, right?

Review

Intro

Vepley is a highly mobile Shotgun wielder who excels at knocking back enemies and instantly killing them when they are pushed off the map. She's not a pure damage dealer though and more like a hybrid between a DPS and Amplifier - so don't look at her from just her damage output perspective or you will be disappointed. Instead, focus on the utility she provides - high mobility, the ability to destroy covers, push enemies off the map, or debuff them so they take more damage from herself and her allies.

Vepley's mix of single-target and AoE skills makes her pretty versatile, but because of her low range and weak Neural Helix Keys, she struggles to find a spot for herself in the meta - she's mainly used in boss battles for the damage-taken debuff.

Her biggest weakness is the inability to move after attacking (but this is fixed with her V1) which combined with the low range, often makes her vulnerable - without proper support, this makes her the reincarnation of Leeroy Jenkins in GFL2, so you will have to think about how to use her or she will quickly die if she overextends. Because of that, her Fixed Key 04-01 is suggested to use to help her survive longer as it provides her a buff that reduces incoming damage once per turn.

Important! Vepley can be obtained for free from the Beginner Mission event.

Pros & Cons
Pros

  • Can dispel buffs from enemies,

  • Can debuff enemies so they take more damage from her (30%) and her allies (20%),

  • Can knock back enemy targets, even pushing them off the map and killing them instantly,

  • Has both single target and AoE damage skills,

  • Very mobile.

Cons

  • Only deals Physical damage and that's the weakest 'element' in the game currently,

  • Jack of all trades, master of none,

  • Relatively weak Neural Helix keys, making her a niche T-Doll that is primarily used in Boss Fight mode or in battles where her mobility helps her reach the objective fast.

Best Synergies

This section is still work in progress, so some synergies might be missing! We will update the information as soon as we can.

Vepley doesn't really have any synergies that make her or her partner stronger - she's mainly used in Bossing for her 20% Damage Taken debuff, so she can be slotted anywhere you need it.
