Review
Si Rodion is a hybrid user of Poise and Rupture; and just like Si Gregor, she is more suited for Poise teams, as her “addition” to the Rupture team is lackluster.
Let’s first talk about her unique statuses, starting with Serpent Arm which she gains from her Defensive Skill, Skill 2 and Skill 3. At turn end, it gives Rodion 3 Poise Potency and 2 Poise Count. If the target is affected with Rupture she will gain an additional 5 Poise Potency on base skill use. This status can stack up to 3 times and is reduced by 1 at turn end.
Her Second mechanic is Deathrite [Venom]. It is inflicted upon using Skill 2 and 3. It inflicts 1 Offense Level Down and 1 Defense Level Down upon getting Rupture triggered by a critical hit (up to 3 times per turn). Just like Deathrite [Haste] it also triggers Rupture when it hits 0 based on the Potency. This effect is quite abysmal when combined with the horrible conditionals, making it way worse than Deathrite [Haste].
Skill 1 - Serpent Glint - 2 Coin Skill - Base Roll 10 - Max Roll 15 - Not very remarkable skill with negative Rupture Count application, but somewhat decent Potency application when it crits.
Skill 2 - Snake Fang - 3 Coin Skill - Base Roll 16 - Max Roll in Clash 22 - Max Roll with Reuse 28 - Skill with neutral Rupture Count application that can become a 4 Coin skill if a certain amount of Poise Potency is achieved. Last coin applies a Si Pack special debuff, Deathrite [Venom], and lets Rodion maintain Serpent Arm buff on Crit.
Skill 3 - Serpent's Mortal Flurry - 3 Coin Skill - Base Roll 17 - Max Roll in Clash 26 - Max Roll with Reuse 35 - First skill in the game to have unconditional 3 Atk Weight, which would be busted if not for “Unfocused Volley”. Additionally, it can become a 5 Coin Skill. While the combination of 3 Atk Weight and number of Coins is impressive, Si Rodion herself does not have any meaningful damage modifiers outside of a meager 10% from Combat Passive and Critting, meaning damage will not be that impressive unless faced against multiple enemies. What is more, without a setup, this skill will eat through Rupture Count easily, possibly dropping a stack of Rupture, causing big damage loss for the whole team.
As said at the beginning, Si Rodion might prefer to be put in the Poise team, rather than the Rupture team, as most of her conditionals rely on Poise. Her Rupture part of the kit can be mostly ignored, as her own Rupture application is bad without a setup to make her work.
And unfortunately for Si Pack Rodion, she has to compete with Devyat Rodion, who can straight up ignore Rupture Count. While she will fare better in longer fights, the majority of those fights Rupture is already clearing way before Devyat Rodion can retreat. The Opportunity cost of using Si Rodion over Devyat Rodion might not be enough to justify the replacement. Even in the Poise team, her inclusion might be debatable, as Poise teams love Pride skills, which are not present in Si Rodion’s kit.
No notable E.G.O. Synergies
Unconditional 3 Atk Weight on possibly 5 Coin skill.
Consistent damage.
Great self-Poise economy.
Bad Rupture application.
Skill 3 has no damage modifiers.
In this section we have listed best E.G.O.s, one per their rank for the Identity - starting with Zayin from left.
