T. Corp Outis is a Tremor-centric Identity who doesn't feel like a Season 6 identity due to her skill rolls and reliance on being in “Borrowed Time” state. Without being in “Borrowed Time” state, Outis’s skills will roll less than the majority of the Identities released before her. So let's look at her skills without factoring “Borrowed Time” status for now.

  • Skill 1 - Prepare to Collect - 2 Coins - Base roll 11 - Max roll 13 - Decent Tremor Count gain and infliction as far as skill 1 goes, but max roll leaves a bit to be desired.

  • Skill 2 - T Corp. Microcavity Module - 3 Coins - Base roll 18 - Max roll 21 - Decent Tremor application and gain while also triggering Amplitude Conversion into Tremor - Chain, which helps with Clashing.

  • Skill 3 - T-3 Collector Mace Max Activation - 3 Coins - Base roll 17 - Max roll 23 - This skill allows Outis to convert Borrowed Time to Violent Collections, which allows Outis to deal more damage and gain more Tremor Count for faster self-ramp, lasting for the rest of the encounter. Additionally, it is another source of the Time Moratorium.

  • Defensive Skill - Borrowed Time - Microcavity - Main use is allowing Outis to enter “Borrowed Time” state, which thankfully, happens on [Combat Start].

As you may have noticed, Outis rolls are a bit disappointing when we look at other season 6 Identities. Without “Borrowed Time” and without an activated Passive, which grants her skills +1 Final Power, Outis's Clashing lags behind other newer Identities. And unfortunately her damage capabilities are also lacklustre, because her biggest modifiers are on the last Coin. And if that wasn't enough, the last Coin on Skill 3 requires Outis to have 50 (!) Tremor Count on self. Outside of Mirror Dungeon (and even then fights do not last THAT long normally) Outis will never reach max potential damage on her Skill 3.

Her main use, over the older Identity such as Molar Office Outis, is just ease of use as in other situations. However, Molar Outis will outperform her due to the Discard mechanic allowing faster Skill 3 cycling which in turn, translates to more damage.

T Corp. Outis is not necessarily weak, she is still better than many Identities from seasons ago but when in comparison to the newest stuff, which could seem like a balancing “standard” with some notable exceptions, she feels weak.
