All Skill Values are shown at Level 10 for Characters as the majority of the players will be using their characters with said levels. Said values do not include additional bonuses from outside sources such as Mental Images. Also, characters do not have 1 More, Basic Attack and Gun skills listed as the latter two are barely used, and 1 More is a generic follow-up primarily used to down enemies weak to certain elements.

Kitazato has 2 modes, Doctor and Ripper, and the properties of his skills change depending on the mode. He starts in Doctor mode. Doctor: Each time Kitazato deals damage with a skill, there is a 70% chance to inflict 1 Bleed stack on the target. When a foe with Bleed is defeated, its Bleed stacks are passed on to the foe with the highest HP. He can also spend SP to use Physical skills. Ripper: When Kitazato uses a skill, inflict 1 Rending stack for every 3 Bleed stacks on the target. Bleed: Each turn, deal Almighty damage equal to 1% of the target's max HP + Physical damage equal to 4% of Kitazato's Attack. This effect lasts for 4 turns and stacks up to 10 times. Rending: Deal Physical damage based on Kitazato's Attack and Nightfall's skill level (this damage cannot deal critical hits or Down Point damage).

Messa is a Physical Assassin with 2 modes, where one is mostly limited to Awareness 6.
At Awareness 0, Messa performs a lot better when focusing on his Doctor mode (Mode that deals foes’ Max HP damage from Bleed Damage Over Time), his Ripper mode (Mode that deals Physical damage from Rending) is not recommended for non-Awareness 6, as most of Ripper mode’s strength comes from his Awareness 6 effects.
Damage Over Time Messa is very self-sufficient, needing 0 support to deal good damage. Each turn, he can deal damage equal to 10% of foes’ Max HP, making him an excellent cheese DPS as long as the game doesn't ban him by giving the enemies a huge Percentage Damage Down buff.
However, this is also where the crippling issue lies. Messa can suddenly deal no damage if the game puts that Percentage Damage Down buff in a fight, which is already present in Global, even in the very first Sea of Souls season. This effectively neuters all of his low Awareness Bleed damage and cheese value. Even if Messa is at Awareness 6, he also has another core issue of his high Awareness Rending damage cannot deal Critical Hits, this effectively means he is playing down a major damage multiplier in the form of Critical Damage and not working well with any Critical buffing support, in every end game mode there is also a modifier that converts a character’s Critical Rate and Critical Damage into Final Damage, this means Messa is playing down that modifier as well.
Between the game banning him in endgame modes, and his dated mechanics of not playing with Critical, Messa is one of, if not the worst, designed DPS they have ever made.
Seaside Moko: Seaside Moko can provide Messa with Ailment Accuracy buffs, making sure Messa can consistently inflict his Bleed early.
Awareness 6: This Awareness unlocks his Ripper mode playstyle; however, he still has many issues even with this.
Weapon: This weapon does very little when playing him in Doctor mode; it gives some Ailment Accuracy is the only thing that helps with that game plan. Only get this when you are trying to use his Ripper mode.
Can ignore foe’s affinities as Bleed deals foe’s Max HP damage.
Gets banned in every endgame mode.
Terrible Awareness value and growth, even at Awareness 6.

Oppression: Increase Physical DMG and Effect Hit Rate by 20% when [Resentment] is not less than 5 stacks.
