Introduction to the game

Persona 5: The Phantom X is a turn-based strategy RPG spinoff of the Persona 5 game. It provides the same beloved features from the original Persona 5 game (strategic and interactive combat, interesting cast of characters, etc) while adding new ones (various game modes, side activities, etc).

The game will release globally on 26th June!

The game will be available on both mobile devices (Android & iOS) and PC version on Steam.

Featuring a brand-new story and a cast of captivating new characters, the world of P5X offers an experience that both Persona 5 fans and newcomers alike can enjoy.

After awakening from a nightmare, the protagonist is thrust into a changed world drained of hope... And the new faces he encounters are no less strange: an eloquent owl named Lufel, a long-nosed man, and a beauty donned in blue.

As he navigates the mysterious realms of the Metaverse and the Velvet Room, and grapples with ruinous visions that threaten his everyday life, he must discover what there is to take from this new world—and all in true Phantom Thief style.

In battles, each character and their Personas have unique animations fitting their personalities and roles, paired with visually pleasing effects. All of it accompanied by a highly acclaimed and beloved soundtrack from the Persona 5 game and plenty of songs and motifs created specifically for Persona 5 X. • Strategic and Interactive Turn-Based Combat - Persona 5: Phantom X expands on the original Persona 5 turn-based combat system, focused on striking and exploiting enemy weaknesses, by adding new mechanics like Highlights, powerful skills akin to ultimate abilities, new forms of buffs and debuffs to utilize, more enemies requiring strategizing and a plethora of Quality of Life additions, when compared to original Persona 5 combat system (visible turn order, numerical values on skills etc). With the varied cast of characters, where everybody has their unique role and niche, team building possibilities and strategies are vast, and a protagonist with his own set of exclusive mechanics and customization options that further add to the depth of combat.
