Review
Loggerhead is a new 5-star who might have attracted players due to her frankly very unique design, but how is her gameplay?
Loggerhead is a debuffer/healer who has quite a bit of a unique kit that might seem a bit disjointed on paper. First off, as you can see, she doesn’t always apply a consistent debuff. She applies them randomly from the [Collection of Neg Statuses], which are [Rigidity], [Poison], and [Burn]. She applies [Burn] the most at 5 stacks, while the rest are applied at 1 stack each. These are applied randomly, though priority is given to effects not yet applied.
She applies this through her Ultimate, which is also a mass attack, and her single-target skill [Take A Look]. Her other skill is a targeted counter called [Give It A Try!] which grants [Memory Relay] to whoever you pick and up to 3 units behind the target depending on Incantation level. It also applies 1 random effect from the [Collection of Neg Statuses] to whoever attacks the counter.
Now you’re wondering, okay, she applies all these effects, but like, why? Why are we doing this? That answer can be found in her Insights.
Her Insight I makes it so that allies trigger [Memory Relay] and gain a stack of an effect called [Clear Head], which increases healing done. Then, at the end of the round, you gain additional stacks of [Clear Head], and everyone in [Memory Relay] will recover health.
In order for her to heal for a good amount, you need to increase the stacks of [Clear Head]. This brings us to [Head of the Storeroom], which makes it so that for each [Neg Status] applied when allies cast incantations, she gains 1 [Clear Head]. Loggerhead applies all those effects for this reason. You just want a lot of negative effects on the enemies, regardless of what they are, so she can trigger her healing and become a strong healer.
So yes, that is pretty much her entire kit. She applies a lot of debuffs, and the more she applies, the more her healing increases. She’s not as flexible as some of the other healer options you have, and her healing output likely won’t be great unless you have the proper setup. However, she can work well in a team that focuses on debuffs, and you can pair her with units that benefit from the effects she applies.
She functions as an effective debuffer in terms of just how much she applies, and it directly increases her healing.
She has a wide array of effects, applying [Poison], [Burn], and [Rigidity] (which turns into [Petrify]). Her abilities prioritize effects that have not yet been applied.
Unlike many other healers, she needs to build up before her healing becomes effective.
Debuffs are still random even with priority for unapplied effects.

"Blasphemer of Night" is the no-brainer option here. Loggerhead can apply two [Neg Statuses] easily for that DMG Dealt bonus.
There's an argument to be made that Loggerhead's damage doesn't matter, though—in that case, "Your Friendly Exorcist" is a fantastic support option. As Loggerhead synergizes best with other [Plant] units, this mono-[Plant] support cube works great for her.
As always, "Yearning Desire" is a good budget substitute for "Blasphemer of Night."
"Her Second Life" gives Loggerhead an extra source of healing through her Ultimate, which makes her a more convincing half-sustain.
