Gacha System

Image

Resonance Solstice gacha system is pretty good, considering we have a 2% for SSR units with a 1% for rate-up characters. Here are the base rates for all unit rarities:

  • SSR (Gold): 2% base rate
  • SR (Purple): 10% rate
  • R (Blue): 88% rate

A 10-pull always guarantees an SR or higher character, so no reason to be doing singles unless you are close to pity. And speaking of that, 80 pulls will guarantee an SSR unit, and after 70, each consecutive pull you do will increase the rate by 10% per pull (starting from 71).

Note

Please note that Resonance Solstice features a shared pity counter across all banners. This includes Normal Recruits, Event Recruits and Story Recruits. This is something to keep in mind if you are pulling on the Normal Recruit while your pity is close, since you could guarantee the Event Rate-up instead.

The only exception to this rule are Limited and Collab banners, which do have their own pity. However, even the Chinese server has seen only three of them, so no need to worry about those for now.

Event Banner

When you obtain an SSR character on the event rate-up banners, there is a 50% chance it will be the featured character (e.g.,

Arina in the picture). If you obtain an SSR that is NOT the featured unit, your next SSR will always be the featured character.

Event banners (and all types of banners on Resonance Solstice) use the same currency, so we recommend saving your Chaos Stone only for characters you like instead of using them on the standard banners, since it’s a waste of resources early on.

Banner Types

The game does not only feature Event banners, so let’s briefly talk about all the banners Resonance Solstice has to offer:

  • Targeted: Banners that show up via in-game notice, usually with a rate-up Banner allowing you to pull for a specific Standard character. Lasts 14 days.
  • Story: Banners linked to specific character stories (so each player will unlock them at different times depending on how much they play), with a rate-up character related to that story. Lasts 7 days.
  • Event: Banners that are linked to specific side stories or events, usually to release new characters (or reruns). Lasts 14 days.
  • Exclusive: These banners are also used to release new characters, but without launching events related to them. Lasts 14 days.
  • Special: Collaboration and Limited Character Rate-up banners. These are the only ones that don’t share pity with anything above. Lasts 21 to 28 days.

Career Info System

Each recruitment grants you at least 1 Career Info item. Depending on the rarity of the unit you pull, you can get more if they are already maxed out characters. This means after getting the same unit 5 times (the maximum amount of dupes characters can have), you will get:

  • 10 Career Info items for an SSR character dupe.
  • 3 Career Info items for an SR character dupe.
  • 1 Career Info item for an R character dupe.

You can use these items on the NC shop that Arina runs to exchange for various items in the rest area of each city.
