Overview

Lee Bora is an exceptional off-field support DPS, capable of dealing significant damage while simultaneously applying damage-increase debuffs to the enemy. Her ability to enhance dark units makes her an invaluable addition to any team focused on maximizing Dark damage output. Bora’s skillset is particularly advantageous for Dark units, as she increases Dark damage within her field and Cleanses debuffs. This debuff-cleansing ability is especially potent against bosses like the Arachnid Boss, which can severely slow movement and attack speed.

Pros & Cons
Pros

  • Can build Support or DPS.

  • Deals damage even off the field.

  • Pairs well with F2P Jinwoo for Dark weapons.

  • 0 investment required to play her.

Cons

  • No real defensive support.

  • Damage on the lower end.

Review

Lee Bora (that we'll call Bora for the rest of the review) excels at buffing Dark damage, both for Hunters and for Jinwoo. Her Core Attack, QTE and Support skill all apply the [Charm] debuff, increasing the damage received by the enemy from all sources by 15% for 15 seconds. Her second noteworthy buff comes from her Strengthening Charm skill, an [Enhancement Circle] area of effect (AoE) will appear on the field and increase both the Dark damage by everyone standing in it, as well as bufifng Bora's summoned [Phantom Foxes]. Both this skill and and her Support skill will remove Debuff zones (like poison puddles) in their area.

Other than that, most of Bora's personal damage will come from her minions, summoned by her second Basic skill.

Bora's weapon, Solid Logic, increases her Attack and applies Crit-related debuffs to enemies hit by her spammable Strengthening Charm. While this weapon is powerful at high investment levels, it is not a priority, as its impact is minimal before the final few duplicates. It is advisable to invest in your carries' weapons first.

For her artifacts, Bora is a highly versatile Hunter who can be built as either a supporter or a DPS, so the sets you equip her with will entirely depend on what you expect from her. At low advancements, it is preferred to go for a more supporting role, in which case Burning Blessing or to a lesser extent Destroyer are the way to go for the armors. If you go for the Destroyer set, the 4piece Burning Blessing will be the best option while he Outstanding Connection set will be the only other relevant 4 piece jewelry set.

Bora's foxes scale with her Crit stats, so even in a support role, aim for offensive stats: Crit Rate, Crit Damage, and Attack (both flat and percentage).

For a DPS-focused Bora, the full Burning Curse set is the clear winner, with Toughness and Armed as secondary options. Traditional jewelry sets are not particularly great for Bora, as she won't be on the field most of the time. The Executioner set is versatile and works well in most scenarios. The 2-piece Curse set can be considered for either armor or jewelry as a budget option, depending on the substats of your artifacts.

Bora differs from other top supporters, such as Min Byung-Gu and Meilin Fisher, in that she is less versatile. Bora's primary contributions are her damage buffs/debuffs and situational area Cleanse. She excels in content where damage needs to be maximized, such as Path of Destruction (PoD) or various speed challenges in Battlefields. Bora can be used off-element for her support capabilities and performs exceptionally well in PoD with a Dark weapon-abusing Jinwoo.

While the mono Dark team currently struggles to achieve strong numbers, Bora is the least likely member to be replaced soon.

Should You Pull?

On top of being a permanent inclusion to the custom pool and being present as an off-rate in every new character banner, there is currently no content where Bora is strictly necessary, be it for PVE progress or for challenging, end game content. As such obtaining her is not a priority unless you are set on building a mono Dark team and abusing the double Dark weapons combos for every content, but even then her spot will be highly contested by both Min and Meilin.

The Guild content is coming out soon, and 3 teams will be required there so Bora's value will increase for this content as we currently lack supporter options (Min, Meilin, Bora and Emma for Fire). Still, wait until you know you need her before adidng her to oyur wishlist.

Investment
  • For F2P and low spenders, Bora's investment is binary: 0 duplicates or 1 duplicate. One duplicate gives her a noticeable damage boost at a low cost, but A0 is sufficient for her supporter skillset.

  • For Dolphins, an A3 Bora with two charges for her AoE skill can make speed clears slightly faster compared to Emma/Alicia, but the investment is high for minimal returns.

  • For Whales -To create a hybrid supporter/DPS Bora, a costly A5 investment is required. Even then, your Bora will not compare favorably to heavily invested pure Damage Dealers.

Best Weapons

For SSR characters, you always want to use their Signature/EX Weapon - they are simply the best for them. Until you obtain the signature weapon, just use the options listed below. The priority is set from left to right. Also, If you have a Signature/EX weapon for a Hunter that is not in your team you can consider using it for the raw stats alone - as long as it matches the character.
