Transcendence is a new system introduced in the anniversary patch in KR/JPN. It increases the level cap from 125 and every 5 levels you will unlock a new passive. Big thanks to alicanli09 who gathered the information, translated it and shared it with us.
Celebrating the new season with some Halloween Firecrackers, Halloween Charmy is ready to frighten the enemy with Pumpkin Pies, explosions and burns. Why did you let her cook?
Her skill 1 will inflict [Burn] on the enemy for 2 turns, and will also inflict [Stun] for 1 turn if the enemy is afflicted with the [Pumpkin Pie] debuff and you have her skill card.
Her skill 2 will apply the [Halloween Firecrackers] effect on enemies under the [Pumpkin Pie] effect. The [Halloween Firecrackers] debuff basically detonates the [Pumpkin Pie] effect and then removes it, making the timing of this skill very important.
Her Special skill is the actual source of the [Pumpkin Pie] debuff and basically acts as a hot potato.
Every turn it will transfer to a different enemy party member, and every time it's transferred it will increase the DMG dealt by the [Pumpkin Pie]. When an enemy gets the [Pumpkin Pie] debuff, they are also inflicted with [Burn] for 2 turns. After 5 turns pass, the [Pumpkin Pie] will be removed after inflicting a LOT of damage to the unlucky victim. If an enemy is under the [Pumpkin Pie] effect when hit by the skill, it will simply add 2 turns of [Burn] to them. Finally, her combined attack will remove barriers before hitting the enemy.
Her LR Passive will give her immortality once per battle when she goes below 30%, like other similar passives.
As you might imagine, Charmy is a unit that requires proper planning in order to setup massive burns and explosions, given you can detonate the [Pumpkin Pie] debuff at will by using her skill 2. This is useful in case you want to use Charmy as more of a support in burn teams, as the damage will come from other units like Fuegoleon S3.
She's currently a very strong addition to the pvp meta and burn teams, but she is a unit that needs proper setup and appreciates longer battles. Furthermore, in the current KR meta there are other (and better) units that can provide consistent burn applications and spots in PvP teams will become very contested. Considering the current accelerated timeline for global, you might want to think carefully about rolling for Charmy or selecting her from the Gateway event, but if you do get her, she'll be a great addition.
Charmy dupes are very strong and make her a reliable [Burn] provider for the team: at Enchantment 2 she will apply 2 stacks of [Burn] on every enemy when removing [Pumpkin Pie], while at Enchantment 5 she will apply [Burn] to a random enemy at the start of the turn. Her E2 is more than enough to secure a spot as a prime burn supporter, given she can sacrifice her own damage to quickly stack [Burn] on the enemy team.
Her personal skill page adds a [Stun] to her Skill 1 when hitting a target affected by [Burn]. It will also give her a 10/100% chance to recover 20/100% of her max HP depending on the dupe level. An OK skill card but if you want to buff up her damage you can consider other cards, like S3 Fuego's skill card or the usual Atk% boosting cards like Breath of Darkness.
Halloween's Charmy place in pvp is in Burn Teams, given the synergy. She replaces SR Theresa in the mono power lineup, together with S3 Fuegoleon, Finral and her prince charming Golden Dawn Yuno.
You can obviously run burn teams that are not limited to the Power Attribute, in that case you will probably want to add units like Halloween Noelle and a speed booster like William, Valtos or Finral.
