Transcendence is a new system introduced in the anniversary patch in KR/JPN. It increases the level cap from 125 and every 5 levels you will unlock a new passive. Big thanks to alicanli09 who gathered the information, translated it and shared it with us.
Our second version of Fana, [Hatred] Fana focuses on one and only thing: dealing a truckload of damage on the enemy team.
Her Skill 1 is a single target attack that grants Fana one stack of [Hatred]. This is a buff unique to Fana that grants her an [Extra Attack] for every stack of Hatred on her when using a Special attack. When attacking an enemy that is Taunted, she also gets a 35% [Increased DMG Dealt] buff on her Skill 1.
Her skill 2 will hit all the enemies and grant Fana two stacks of [Hatred], inflicting also burn on the enemy. If you have her skill page equipped, it has a 60% of inflicting [Taunt] on the enemy.
Her special attack is a huge area attack: if she has no [Hatred] stacks, she will perform a follow-up attack for 30% extra ATK based on her ATK/MATK. If she does has [Hatred], it will inflict an extra 50/70/100/130/180% ATK as a follow-up instead. That's a LOT of damage. Lastly, her combined attack inflicts [Taunt] on the target for 1 turn.
Her LR passive is similar to Charlotte, as in if your team is composed of only [Sense] allies it will grant the whole team [Status Aliment Immunity] for one turn at the beginning of the battle. A very powerful passive paired with Charlotte's barrier, considering how the Green team is already a menace in PvP and will only get stronger when a certain festival mage will be released soon.
Fana is an amazing addition to everyone's roster, as she's the fastest green farmer in the game while also being a very powerful PvP unit, provided she's provided the needed support. We'll talk more about this later, but while her potential damage is much higher than Licht, her lack of [Immortality] makes her a bit more vulnerable if she cannot one shot the enemy team. For newer players that recently started out and could obtain S5 Charlotte and Swimsuit Vanessa, Hateful Fana is one of the missing infinity stones to complete the mono [Sense] team, allowing them to compete in PvP. However, if you are a veteran player - and especially if you are free to play and don't have many resources saved - it would be best to save your resources for the upcoming Festival Unit, especially if you already have a decently built Licht. At E2, Fana sets her HP to 1% and grants herself [Immortality] for 1 turn when she gets 5 stacks of [Hatred]. She will also heal 50% HP between waves. At E5, she gets 50% [DMG Reduction] when inflicting taunt.
Her E2 passive obviously fixes one of her main drawbacks, the lack of Immortality. However, having to reach 5 stacks of [Hatred] will make her vulnerable in PvP for a few turns, and that's when generally she'll be under pressure. It's worth noting that Fana gets a LOT of flat Matk with every dupe, further increasing her potential damage considering she is generally built with a lot of Matk% gear.
Her skill page grants her a 40/100% chance to grant the wearer a 20/40% [Increased DMG Dealt] buff for 1 turn if she is inflicted with Taunt. Honestly, not a great skill card and you would rather use an Atk% increasing card like Breath of Darkness. In reality, her best skill page in the [Sense] team is going to be S3 Fuegoleon card, granting her a 25% damage increase per burn stack when maxed. We've been saying this for a while so if you invested in Academy Fuegoleon's skill card, now it's the time to reap the sweet rewards!
Hateful Fana is a PvP beast that works best in mono-Sense teams. Currently, she works best with Charlotte, Swimsuit Vanessa and Rill. The combination of powerful shielding, protection from targeting and buff removal setups powerful nukes from her Special Attacks that will cleave most of the enemy setups. However, at lower dupes, Fana might have issues killing Black Asta, who can nuke her back thanks to his Skill 2 being aoe and removing barriers.
Once Mereleona comes out, she will be able to easily setup burn on all the enemy team - coupled with S3 Fuegoleon's skill card, she will be able to hit even harder.
