Transcendence is a new system introduced in the anniversary patch in KR/JPN. It increases the level cap from 125 and every 5 levels you will unlock a new passive. Big thanks to alicanli09 who gathered the information, translated it and shared it with us.
Closing up the trio of S3 Characters we have Jack, bringing to the table a kit focused on single target damage and stuns.
His skill 1 inflicts Bleed on an enemy for 2 turns and comes with a 50% chance of inflicting stun if the target is already bleeding. His skill 2 applies his special buff, Miscalculation, while also buffing his Penetration and accuracy for 2 turns. Miscalculation allows Jack to inflict extra attacks on the target when using his special skill based on the number of stacks - this is pretty much in line with how Jack works, pulling him may feel like a miscalculation that unfortunately may trigger multiple times.
His special skill is a single target attack with one extra attack per Miscalculation stack, up to 3. It also comes with a guaranteed 1 turn stun, should the enemy survive.
If you have his skill page, the third hit will have an increased 500% increased damage dealt buffs, making it a very strong tool for bursting down specific targets or bosses. Finally, his Combined attack will dispel barriers before attacking and will also deal an Additional attack afterwards.
While Jack has some nice damage capabilities, it takes a lot of work to set him up, namely stacking his Miscalculation buff and having to wait for turn 2 at the very least to maximise his Special Skill. He does get a 20% mobility buff when taking damage and his Skill 2 is on a 2 turn cooldown, but you won't stack his buff fast enough without dupes.
Being in the Sense attribute it's impossible to avoid the comparison with Rhya, as they both serve the same role of green boss killer. Jack can still put in some work, but considering the packed global schedule and the already available alternatives it will be difficult to justify investing heavily in him to reach his golden ratio.
His dupes are very simple, giving him +1/2 stacks of Miscalculation at the start of the battle. Simple but effective, as we discussed how he needs to stack his personal buff asap.
His skill page is pretty much needed in order to maximise his Special Attack damage, once you stack his Miscalculation. Getting dupes will increase the % to proc the increased damage buff before hitting, but it's not as important considering he is mostly a pve/boss unit.
Jack is a very considerate teacher who believes students should have their own experiences - because of that, you'll rarely see Jack fighting in pvp as he's content watching from the sidelines.
If you do see Jack teaching in pvp lineups, he is not a problematic opponent, but keep in mind he can remove barriers and that his mobility buff when damaged could surprise you, so don't get caught offguard!
