Transcendence is a new system introduced in the anniversary patch in KR/JPN. It increases the level cap from 125 and every 5 levels you will unlock a new passive. Big thanks to alicanli09 who gathered the information, translated it and shared it with us.
Our little mermaid ( I mean..she is singing under the ocean, right?), Kahono is a Technique healer that brings to the party healing and defensive utility.
Her Skill 1 is a single target attack granting the ally with the lowest current HP a 4/8% [Continuous HP Recovery] buff for 4 turns. Her skill 2 targets all allies and gives a 14/30% Barrier to her team based on her max HP for 2 turns, while also granting [Increased DEF] and [Increased HP Recovery] for 2 turns. If you have her skill card, she will also dispel 2 debuffs from each party member.
Her special attack restores the HP of the team based on 20/40% of Kahono's max HP, while also granting them a [Increased ALL Atk] buff for 2 turns. Lastly, her combined attack grants the partner a 20/40% HP Recovery based on Kahono's max HP, on top of giving them a [Increased ALL Atk] buff before attacking. The LR passive gives a 10% [Increased Max HP] bonus, that is pretty welcome considering how her healing scales on her HP.
Kahono is a very powerful healer/buffer who unfortunately can't sing her own praises after losing her voice - her healing is nice but limited, her defensive buffs are useful but other units offer better ones.
She is a jack of all trades but master of none - being released alongside S2 charmy didn't help, and the previous season offered another powerful healer like S1 Mimosa that, on top of having good healing, could also resurrect a fallen ally.
The timing in global also didn't help considering the siblings released right after Julius stole most of their resources.
Still, she is a good standard pool healer for beginners and if you don't have the above mentioned options you'll surely find usage for Kahono.
Getting Kahono to E2 grants her a 5% [Reduced DMG Taken] buff, that becomes 8% at E5. At E5 she also gains a 12% [Increased Max HP] bonus, increasing the strenght of her barriers and healing.
Kahono's skill page lets her dispel 2 debuffs when using her Skill 2. The passive effect gives a 35% chance of recovering 10/20% of allies max HP when hit by a critical hit. Considering that without her barrier Kahono is quite squishy you would probably want something giving a concrete buff to the barrier instead, like Adventurer's Journal or SR Charmy's skill page.
If you need a healer for your PvP there's no harm in running Kahono, but considering she is not fast and her barriers are not super sturdy you will have issues surviving as you progress in the higher pvp leagues.
