Transcendence is a new system introduced in the anniversary patch in KR/JPN. It increases the level cap from 125 and every 5 levels you will unlock a new passive. Big thanks to alicanli09 who gathered the information, translated it and shared it with us.
Langris joins the cast as a Sense attacker specialized in being insufferable and inflicting debuffs on the opponent.
His skill 1 has a 50% chance of giving Langris a [SP+1] Buff. His skill 2 will 'sacrifice' 2 SP from an Ally to grant himself [SP+2], or 3 if you have his skill card. He also gets a Speed buff for 3 turns, while the target ally will have a 45% chance (that can be reduced down to 13%) of receiving a reduced HP recovery debuff. Thank you Langris, your party members love you too!
His special attack will attack all the enemies and inflict [HP Recovery Immunity] on them for 2 turns, on top of a [Reduced HP Recovery] debuff for 2 turns. Langris will grant himself [Debuff Immunity] for 2 turns and grant all allies a 20% [Increased Favored DMG Dealt] buff for 2 turns. His combined attack is nothing to write home about, a very generic barrier removal. His LR passive is, once per battle, one turn of immortality when his HP drops below 30%.
While Langris can deal some nice aoe damage, it's hard to play him over other options, especially considering the very strong Sense attackers coming in the near future. He can be a great option for [HP Recovery Immunity] for players who didn't get a chance to obtain his commoner companion Swimsuit Yuno, but it's hard to recommend rolling for him.
Getting Langris to E2 will give him a +2 SP buff per turn. Coupled with his Skill 2 being on a short cooldown (2 turn) and its significant speed boost, Langris will be able to spam his Special skill reliably. If you get him to max dupe, he will also grant himself 100 of his Max HP as [HP Recovery]
His skill card adds one extra skill card to his Skill 2 [SP+] buff, so it's a nice addition. The passive bonus is also good, granting him a 20% [Increased Favored DMG Dealt] buff when hitting an enemy affected with [HP Recovery Immunity].
Langris is a fairly decent option in PvP. His [Increased Favored DMG Dealt] buff means he can take out Technique units surprisingly fast, especially if the enemy team is somehow centered around S2 Charmy given she is entirely focused on HP recovery. If you are hitting a mono blue team you can run a mono-green team using Langris, Rades, Mimosa and Valtos.
Between Mimosa's resurrection (resetting Langris own resurrection if he got killed), Rades barrier and damage reduction and Valtos you will be able to annoy the opponent one way or another, picking up kills overtime thanks to the multiple ways of stopping or reducing the enemy's HP Recovery.
