Transcendence is a new system introduced in the anniversary patch in KR/JPN. It increases the level cap from 125 and every 5 levels you will unlock a new passive. Big thanks to alicanli09 who gathered the information, translated it and shared it with us.
Slacking off in a corner, Lotus is an exceptional debuffer capable of hindering the enemy team and overloading the servers with all the players rerolling for him at the start of the game.
His skill 1 will hit every enemy and has a 50% chance of inflicting 15/20% [Mobility Down] on every enemy. His skill 2 is a single target hit inflicting [Extend Debuff Duration] for one turn and [Reduced DMG Res] on an enemy for 2 turn. If you have his skill page (as you should), it will also inflict [Concentrated Attack] for one turn.
Lotus Special attack hits every enemy and inflicts [Incapacitate] on every enemy for 2 turns. It also has a 50/60% chance of stripping all the buffs from the enemy and a 50% chance of inflicting [Reduced SPD] for 2 turns. His combined attack has a 60% of inflicting 20% [Reduced Mobility] on all enemies.
If you are running Lotus paired with Mars, you will unlock his United Attack, inflicting [Reduced SPD] on every enemy for 2 turns. Lastly, his LR passive grants him a [Matk]+12% bonus, can't say no to some extra damage, especially early on.
Lotus is one of the most valuable units in the game, being able to slow down the enemy by targeting both Speed and Mobility and increase the damage they receive between [Incapacitate] and [Concentrated Attack]. He's usable in most stages of the game, especially for newer players that can use his turn manipulation and debuff extension to clear harder stages without getting wiped. He is also good in PvP, but the addition of more units providing debuff cleansing and status immunity caused him to fall off a bit in that area - almost all his skills target all enemies and compared to early on we now have a lot of enemies with effects on hit, making it potentially harmful to be almost entirely focused on area attacks. New players should focus on getting a copy of Lotus, as he will carry you a long way.
Getting Lotus to E2 adds a 25% chance to inflict a 10% [Reduce All ATK] on the target for 1 turn, going up to 35% of inflicting 12% [Reduce ALL Atk] at L5. Lotus dupes add even more debuffs to his kits and while they are not guaranteed, they can make all the difference between surviving and being defeated, especially in PvP.
Lotus skill page adds [Concentrated Attack] to his skill 2. The passive adds 25% chance to inflict a 2/10% [SPD Reduction] for 1 turn. While it's unfortunate that the % remains 25%, it's in line with his E2 passive and quite frankly, the [Concentrated Attack] is so invaluable that the passive could be empty and it would still be his best in slot. If you don't have Lotus skill page you should use a SSR skill page selector to get it, since it's that good. Potential placeholders alternatives would be Rill's skill card (adding a 60% chance to apply 10/20% def down with his special skill) or SR magna's.
Lotus is an amazing PvP unit that fits in a lot of team comps.
In general, you'd love to pair him with Mars in order to unlock their United attack, the other slots can be filled with a strong damage dealer (like Julius) and either a speed booster like William or Valtos. You can also pair him with Halloween Noelle in order to cripple the enemy with all the debuffs - in that case, you can remove Mars from the lineup. If you are running a mono Technique team you can obviously pair him with S3 Charlotte, as his Skill 1 is super nasty with the counterattack buff given it can potentially mess up with the enemy turn order.
