Transcendence is a new system introduced in the anniversary patch in KR/JPN. It increases the level cap from 125 and every 5 levels you will unlock a new passive. Big thanks to alicanli09 who gathered the information, translated it and shared it with us.
Shocking everyone for getting out of the SR jail, Luck is an interesting attacker focused on counterattacks.
His skill 1 inflicts [Electrocute] on the enemy, dealing damage at the start of the turn and stacking up to 3 times. This skill will hit after removing an enemy's barrier, making it very useful against teams with s5 Charlotte.
His skill 2 inflicts damage to all enemies and gives [Counterattack] to all allies that do not have a [Counterattack] buff, and grants an extra turn of [Counterattack] to all allies who already have the buff. If you have Lucks's skill page, it will also inflict a stack of [Electrocute] for 2 turns.
His special attack inflicts [Electrocute] on the target for 2 turns and also inflicts 40% of his ATK/Matk as [Extra Damage] based on how many allies currently have the [Counterattack] buff. Lastly, he also grants himself a turn of [Increased Speed].
Lastly, his LR passive grants Luck a 10% [Increased DMG Dealt] buff if he has a stack of [Counterattack] on himself.
Luck is a fun unit that can setup some nice plays based on counterattack, but as of now, he is pretty much that - fun. Having to setup your main source of damage and having to play around the turn order to ensure everyone has counter on before using his Special is pretty limited, but he can be a great source of [Counterattack] for units that have effects tied to their Skill 1 like his bannermate, S6 Yami. However, Luck value is bound to increase in the future if we get more units focused on this gimmick, like for example, seasonal William releasing in the future. Burn team took multiple seasons to shine, so it's possible that Luck will have his time to shine in the future.
At LR2, Luck grants himself a 70% [Reduced DMG] buff for 2 turns at the start of the turn if he has [Counterattack] on himself. At LR5, he will gain 8 skill points when attacking a target under [Continuous Damage]. This makes it much easier to have his Special Attack ready at all times, improving his damage potential significantly.
Luck's skill page grants him a 55/100% chance to grant a 20/40% ALL ATK buff when attacking, provided he has [Counterattack] active. This is very powerful since Luck should always have this buff on, his skill page also adds Electrocute to his skill 2, allowing him to stack this debuff much faster.
