Fanny is a DoT-focused Sorcerer who is also able to kill enemies that are at low life instantly. She fits nicely into the current DoT team built around T. Hati, replacing Darcias/Agares there (depending on the content).

Let's go over her kit.

Her Talent is a pretty simple one - whenever the enemy's HP falls below 12% HP, Fanny will spank them and, in a lot of cases, kill them. The 'execute' damage is based on the enemy's HP, but it's capped by Fanny's ATK, so while most normal enemies will be instantly killed, against bosses it won't work, and instead the Talent will simply deal additional damage.

Her Special activates every 4 Basic Attacks - on top of doing damage, if the enemy is afflicted by her DoT (Blood Mark), she will inflict two additional stacks on them. What's important to note is that Blood Mark deals Piercing Damage (same as the rest of her kit), so it ignores part of the enemy's PDEF and MDEF.

Lastly, Fanny's Ultimate is split into two parts. The first part leaves a Magic Circle on the ground, and everyone inside will suffer damage every second - and honestly, the multiplier here is a bit absurd (reaching 6750% ATK at level 10). The second part will inflict 5 stacks of Blood Mark on all enemies within the Magic Circle. Since the Magic Circle is static, it works best against 'static' enemies that don't try to move out of it. But you can also use characters like Agnes that gather enemies in one spot before using the Ultimate, making sure everyone gets hit by it.

Overall, Fanny is a great damage dealer, but because of that, we have to compare her performance to the current best DPS in the game - Timeless Aiona. And sadly, she falls short here. If you have T. Aiona, there's no reason to use Fanny instead/with her in one-team content, but where Fanny shines is multi-team content (Prophecy, Clan Hunt) and events. If you ignore Timeless Aiona's existence, Fanny is for sure one of the top 3 DPS in the game.

Also, the DoT team is the second strongest 'archetype' after T. Aiona's basic-focused one - so getting one copy of Fanny is worth it. But stop there. Fanny isn't a limited character, so she will be added to the standard pool (and you will be able to wishlist her in Altar) somewhere in the next patch.

Pros & Cons
Pros

  • Great damage output.

  • New best partner for T. Hati in the DoT archetype team.

  • Piercing damage ignores part of PDEF and MDEF, so it has higher damage output out of the box.

  • Execute! Can kill enemies that are on low life.

Cons

  • Currently, Piercing damage lacks dedicated supports that allow it to scale further.

  • Enemies that move a lot can leave the Magic Circle, which will lead to DPS loss.

  • Her animations are a bit too much, and you can't play with her in public.

Skill Investment

The numbers in the skill levels are placed in this order: Basic / Special / Ultimate. You can find more information about the colors in the section below.

Here's the explanation for all the numbers and colors used in the guide:

  • 10/5/7 means upgrading Basic to lvl 10, Special to lvl 5, and Ultimate to lvl 7,
  • Blue means the immediate investment when u get the unit (and are using them),
  • Orange means recommended investment for F2P players,
  • Red means maximum recommended investment, in order to get the best out of the unit.

More info:

  • The skill investment list below features a lot of Level 4 and 7 because they are easier to understand. Any higher levels will cost a new type of resource.
  • However, you may choose to upgrade to Level 5 if you need a stronger effect instead of 4, as the increase in Blue Manual cost from Level 4 to 5 is still low. The leap only starts from Level 6 onward.
  • There is also a leap from Level 3 to 4, so if you want to save a tiny bit of Blue Manuals, then leave at 3 instead of 4.

Priority explained:

  • Meta: Most important characters used everywhere.
  • High: Good in various PvE content.
  • Medium: Good in at least one PvE content.
  • Low: Can perform well in some PVE content, but they're niche.
  • PvP: These units are mainly used in PvP.

The Recommended and Flex stats listed below aren't placed in specific order. We may order them in the future once we have a better understanding of the damage formula, but currently the order does not matter.
