Skill I

Guiding Light

Unlocks at level 11

Cooldown: 7s

Range: 8 Tiles

Passive. Aliceth grants an ally Brightfeather, prioritizing the nearest ally in her row. After that ally deals ranged damage 3 times, they unleash a feather for an additional strike, dealing 120% + 20% damage. This extra strike can trigger once every 0.5s.

If the ally granted Brightfeather is a ranged unit, their normal attack range is increased by 5 tiles. The ally loses Brightfeather if they are defeated.

Active. Aliceth shoots a charged arrow at an enemy, dealing 380% + 50% damage, knocking them back 6 tiles, and stunning them for 2.5s.

Unlocks at level 71: Increases the damage of the charged arrow to 420% + 50%.

Unlocks at level 131: Increases the damage of the charged arrow to 460% + 50%.

Unlocks at level 191: Increases the damage of the charged arrow to 500% + 50%.

Skill II

Sealed Fate

Unlocks at level 31

Cooldown: -

Range: Global

When a battle starts, Aliceth places her Mark of Judgment on the farthest enemy. She and allies with Brightfeather both prioritize attacking the marked enemy, and their attacks against that enemy gain an extra 35 + 5 Penetration.

Passive. After Aliceth locks on the same enemy for 6s or casts her Ultimate, the Mark of Judgment is enhanced. The enhanced mark allows her to instantly defeat the marked enemy if her attack reduces the enemy's HP below 300% + 30%. If the marked enemy is defeated or becomes untargetable, Aliceth shifts the mark to a new enemy, resetting the mark's duration counter.

Unlocks at level 91: Increases the extra Penetration applied to Aliceth and her ally's attacks against the marked enemy by 40 + 5.

Unlocks at level 151: Increases the extra Penetration applied to Aliceth and her ally's attacks against the marked enemy by 45 + 5.

Unlocks at level 211: Increases the extra Penetration applied to Aliceth and her ally's attacks against the marked enemy by 50 + 5.

Aliceth is an S-level Celestial Marksman who specializes in single-target attack and buffing one selected ally at battle start. Her main utility comes from her ability to not just buff an ally’s Attack, but to also increase the ally’s Normal Attack range by 5 tiles if they are a Ranged Hero.

In many ways, Aliceth functions similarly to Ravion; her Ultimate, “Radiant Rain,” is an aerial attack in which Aliceth shoots 6 volleys of 3 arrows in rapid succession. She is Invincible while airborne, and her arrows deal extra damage equal to a percentage of the enemy’s lost HP.

Aliceth’s skill “Guiding Light” allows her to grant an ally “Brightfeather.” Her “Brightfeather” ally is able to launch an extra strike for every 3 times they deal ranged damage. If the “Brightfeather” ally is a ranged unit, their Normal Attack range is increased by 5 tiles. As such, selecting a ranged ally for her “Brightfeather” is the key to maximizing the potential of her skill. Unfortunately, the buff does not transfer upon the ally’s defeat. When active, Aliceth will also shoot a charged arrow at an enemy that applies a knockback of 6 tiles and a 2.5s Stun in addition to the damage dealt.

At the start of battle, Aliceth activates “Sealed Fate,” a skill which enables her to place the Mark of Judgment on the farthest enemy. She and her “Brightfeather” ally will prioritize this target, and all attacks against that enemy will gain extra penetration. Furthermore, she can enhance her Mark of Judgment after 6s (or after she casts her Ultimate) to instantly defeat the marked enemy if her attack reduces the enemy’s HP by a certain percentage. Upon the marked enemy’s defeat (or if the enemy becomes untargetable), she will shift the Mark to a new enemy and reset the duration counter.

Aliceth’s Hero Focus increases her and her “Brightfeather” ally’s attack during battle. After the first enemy affected by her Mark of Judgment is defeated, she and her “Brightfeather” ally will gain an extra ATK increase.

For her Exclusive Skill, Aliceth offers herself and her ally immunity from their first fatal blow with “Aegis Wings.” She prevents their defeat while also granting them temporary Invincibility and health recovery. The Hero is then moved to a safe spot within 4 tiles (unless Unaffected or Steadfast). At EX +15, “Aegis Wings” includes extra damage for every 4 feathers shot by an ally. This extra burst blinds the enemy, resulting in 40% HP lost per second for 3s.

Now, for a quick overview of her performance in various game modes:
  • Story and AFK Stages - Aliceth excels in AFK Stage content with multiple targetable enemies due to her ability to instantly defeat an enemy affected by her Mark of Judgment. Since she offers Range and Penetration buffs for a selected ally, Aliceth can be a valuable support for your Ranged DPS when paired with units who specialize in Crowd Control such as Cyran, Eironn or Tasi.

  • Dream Realm - Aliceth can bring great utility to any Boss battle through her combination of DPS and Support capabilities for herself and her allied “Brightfeather.” Unfortunately, if the ally with “Brightfeather” is defeated, the buff does not transfer. This means she may be lackluster in a team that faces survival issues; however, her kit includes fatal blow immunity for her ally and herself to mitigate this risk to some extent.

  • PVP - Aliceth has notable potential to enhance your team as a Support and secondary DPS. Due to a lack of AoE damage, she requires heavy-hitting allies in order to fully shine in PvP. Aliceth synergizes best with Ranged Heroes such as Lily May, Shemira, or Ravion due to her “Brightfeather” buff extending their Normal Attack range.

Investment
  • Legendary+ increases Aliceth and her “Brightfeather” ally’s ATK up to 2 times, with an extra percentage increase if her Marked enemy is defeated in battle.

  • Mythic+ unlocks fatal blow immunity for Aliceth and her “Brightfeather” ally. This skill includes temporary Invincibility and health recovery.

  • EX +15 unlocks extra burst damage for every 4 feathers shot by Aliceth’s “Brightfeather” ally, in addition to Blinding adjacent enemies for 3s. Blinded enemies lose 40% HP per second.

  • Supreme+ increases the number of arrow volleys that Aliceth is able to shoot with her Ultimate, with a maximum increase of up to 6 extra arrow volleys in total.

Conclusion

Like most Celestial or Hypogean characters, Aliceth’s ideal investment is S+, with her key Exclusive Skill breakpoint at EX +15 to enable HP loss effects against the enemy via blinding. Aliceth may still need to prove her worth with further testing as the Season progresses toward Endless difficulty in PvE modes, as Celestial/Hypogean heroes are certainly not a light investment. However, her skill and performance level early on has been nothing if not promising.

Pros & Cons
Pros

  • Crowd Control (Knockback, Stun).

  • Can greatly enhance the performance of high DPS units by increasing their Normal Attack range by 5.

  • Fatal Blow immunity that also provides temporary Invincibility and health restoration.

  • Mark of Judgment can instantly defeat an enemy and will transfer to a new target upon their defeat.

Cons

  • “Brightfeather” buff does not transfer, leaving no lasting benefit if the ally is defeated.

  • Many skills will not have utility in Boss battles as Dream Realm Bosses can’t be instantly defeated (Aliceth’s Mark of Judgment), nor can they be Blinded (Aliceth’s EX +15 HP loss effect).

  • Cannot receive full Hero Focus ATK buff in Boss battles (requires defeat of Marked enemy).

Guides

EX Investment

Since the

Temporal Essence
Temporal Essence
and
Twilight Essence
Twilight Essence
are very hard to obtain, you have to be really careful with the using them to upgrade the EX weapon. And in this guide we ordered all characters by the priority when it comes to how much they need investment in their EX weapon to work well and where should you stop to get the best bang for your buck.

Color explanation:

  • +X - where every character starts,
  • +X - the next step that you should do when investing into that character - for some characters this will be enough,
  • +X - the final step you should do when investing into that character - you can go beyond that later though once you have the Essences to spare.
