Bryon is an S-Level Marksman who excels at dealing massive damage, particularly against groups, with the aid of his companion Elona.

To understand Bryon, we will start at Shadow Flash, which passively doubles the instances of damage of his Normal Attacks and Skills while also causing Elona to inflict Thunderbolts, dealing additional damage based on the target's current HP and lastly interrupting their actions while absorbing some of their Energy. When activated, Shadow Flash strikes a single enemy twice.

His Ultimate, Falcon Raid, passively grants Bryon 1000 Energy and summons Elona. When used actively, Bryon consumes 300 Energy to command Elona to strike his current target. Once on the battlefield, Elona continuously consumes increasing amounts of Energy. She disappears when her Energy is depleted or if Bryon is defeated.

Elona cannot be targeted, ignores terrain, and prioritizes Bryon's current target. Her Normal Attacks deal damage equal to Bryon's ATK. After 8s in battle, Elona's Normal Attack damage and Haste are increased. These boosts reset whenever she leaves the battlefield. After 18s, Elona gains enhanced Thunderbolt effects that reduce the Haste of adjacent enemies and deal continuous damage per second, with the effects resetting when she leaves the field. While Tacit Strike is a generic damage skill that hits 4 times and can be doubled by Bryon's Shadow Flash. At Supreme+, Bryon deals 2 more instances of damage with Tacit Strike when Elona is on the field.

At Mythic+, he unlocks Spiritual Companion that lets Elona damage and stun enemies for 3s when Bryon is controlled or hit for over 15% of his HP, once every 20s while on the field. At EX +5, Elona can block a fatal blow, healing Bryon and making him Untargetable for 5s at the cost of his Energy, then leaves the field for 10s, which triggers only once per battle.

Bryon's Supreme+ Passive has been buffed: In addition to its original effects, Elona's Thunderbolt now jumps to 2 enemies. Every time Elona lands 3 hits with her Normal Attacks or Skills, Bryon permanently gains 15% Haste, stacking up to a cap.

Performance in Various Game Modes

• Story and AFK Stages - Bryon is a great choice in this mode, especially when he is partnered with Eironn to deal damage to multiple enemies while denying their ability to act.

• Dream Realm - He is never used in this mode as his damage and utility come from AoE attacks and reducing enemy Haste, which is not valuable against bosses.

• PvP - Bryon has been losing relevance in PvP for a long time now, as there are a lot of hard counters that can easily burst him down or deny his full damage potential.

Investment

• Legendary+ increases Bryon’s Haste, more so when Elona is on the field.

• Mythic+ makes Elona damage and stun enemies that controlled or dealt heavy damage to Bryon.

• EX+5 grants Elona to block a fatal blow from Bryon and make him invulnerable for a few seconds at the cost of all of his Energy.

• Supreme+ makes Bryon’s Tacit Strike deal 2 more instances of damage when Elona is on the field.

• Supreme+ Level 2 will make Elona’s Thunderbolts jump to adjacent enemies and whenever she deals 3 hits from either Normal Attack or Skill, Bryon will gain permanent Haste.

Conclusion

Bryon has been seeing better days, especially since he got the buff on his Supreme+ Passive, making him a viable DPS in AFK Stages. The only caveat is that you need to have a Haste booster on your team or an Energy provider to keep his Ultimate active. A proper investment for him is to Supreme+ Level 2 to give Bryon more Haste to work with, which in turn more Energy to keep his Ultimate active.
