Temporal Field

Unlocks at level 1

Cooldown: -

Range: Global

Initial Energy: 400

When Galahad casts her Ultimate, she consumes 400 Energy to deal 320% + 40% damage to all enemies. She then begins forming a 2-tile-radius magic circle centered on her position. The circle remains active as long as Galahad stays at its center.

While the magic circle is forming, Galahad consumes 60 Energy every second to increase the circle's power level by 10%. When the power level reaches 100%, she stops consuming Energy and gains 30 Haste.

Enemies inside the magic circle lose 10 Haste and 16% movement speed for every 10% of the circle's power level, up to a maximum reduction of 50 Haste and 80% movement speed.

While Galahad stays at the center of her circle, whenever she casts a skill, a shadow of herself appears shortly after and casts the same skill, inheriting 60% + 5% of Galahad's stats.

Unlocks at level 51: Increases the damage dealt to 340% + 40%.

Unlocks at level 111: Increases the damage dealt to 360% + 40%.

Unlocks at level 171: Increases the damage dealt to 380% + 40%.

Unlocks at level 231: Increases the damage dealt to 400% + 40%.

The immobilized target cannot move or act and loses HP equal to 50% of the non‑excess healing they have received since they were last immobilized by this skill, up to a maximum HP loss of 300%. When fighting bosses, the HP loss is fixed at 150%.

After the initial strike, Galahad expands this skill's range by 1 tile and deals 120% + 15% damage to all enemies within range, then repeats the sequence for a third strike.

Unlocks at level 71: Increases initial strike damage to 180% + 20% and the following two strikes to 130% + 15%.

Unlocks at level 131: Increases initial strike damage to 190% + 20% and the following two strikes to 140% + 15%.

Chrono Ward

EX. Skill

Time Recast

Unlocks after reaching Mythic+

Cooldown: -

Range: 10 Tiles

When a battle starts, Galahad marks the nearest allied hero, prioritizing the one behind her. When Galahad's magic circle fully forms for the first time, she summons a shadow that recreates the marked ally as they were at the start of battle.

The shadow remains on the battlefield for 12 seconds, inheriting 80% of the ally's basic stats and starting with 400 extra Initial Energy. A shadow is not considered a living hero and cannot be targeted by enemies.

Unlocks at Ex. Weapon +5: The summoned shadow now inherits 100% of the marked ally's basic stats.

Unlocks at Ex. Weapon +10: When Galahad's magic circle is fully formed for the first time, Magister Merlin's skills grant stat buffs that are 20% stronger and last 100% longer; every time Magister Merlin casts a skill, a shadow of Merlin appears nearby and casts the same skill again, causing 60% as much HP loss as Merlin's original skill does.

Unlocks at Ex. Weapon +15: The summoned shadow now inherits 120% of the marked ally's basic stats.

Galahad is an S-Level Mauler Mage with a range of 10 and arguably the most enthusiastically anticipated hero of the entire Thorns of Devotion season, due to her lasting impact on the playerbase as Merlin’s charming, deeply missed companion during and after the storyline.

Galahad’s Ultimate, “Temporal Field”, deals damage to all enemies, then creates a Magic Circle centered on her. While she remains at the center, the circle remains active and expands by consuming Energy each second up to a limit; once this limit is reached, Energy consumption stops, and she gains 30 Haste. Enemies within the circle lose Haste and Movement Speed. During this time, a shadow of Galahad briefly appears and uses the skill. Her Supreme+ makes her Steadfast as long as she is affected by Merlin’s buffs, which fixes the issue of her being displaced out of the center of the Magic Circle.

“Binding Loop” targets the enemy who has dealt the most damage, dealing damage and immobilizing them. While immobilized, the target cannot act and loses HP based on the effective healing they have received since the last time Binding Loop immobilized them. After the first cast, this skill's range expands, dealing AoE to all enemies within a range. This happens again after the third cast.

“Chrono Ward” on the other hand, is a simple shielding for the weakest ally, which deals damage around it when the shield expires.

At Mythic+, she unlocks “Time Recast”, which marks a nearby ally (prioritizing the one behind her). When the Magic Circle reaches full range, a shadow of the marked ally is created for 12 seconds with extra Initial Energy. This shadow is not a real on-field character and cannot be targeted or damaged. At EX+10, when the Magic Circle is at full range, Merlin's buffs to allies are stronger and last longer, and his damaging skills deal increased damage.

Now, for a quick overview of her performance in various game modes:

  • Story and AFK Stages - She performs better than Shemira as a DPS, since her damage hits all enemies simultaneously and she provides added utility through Time Recast.

  • Dream Realm - This is where Galahad shines the most. She uses Time Recast to let another DPS or Buffer deal significantly more damage to the Dream Realm Boss. However, this works better in the pre-Endless meta than in the Endless meta.

  • PVP - She is decent in PvP despite relying on her Ultimate; if she survives long enough, she can eventually wipe the enemy team.

Investment
  • Legendary+ increases Galahad’s ATK during battle, moreso when the Magic Circle is at full range.

  • Mythic+ unlocks the ability to copy an ally to either deal more damage or add more utility to the team.

  • EX +10 increases Merlin’s skill buffs and skill damage whenever Galahad’s Magic Circle is at full range.

  • Supreme+ makes Galahad remain Steadfast while forming the Magic Circle, ensuring she gets access to the full value of her kit.

Conclusion

Galahad exceeds expectations as a well-loved story character and one of the best DPS in the game.

If you want to invest in the Community’s Daughter, start at Mythic+ to unlock ally copying for more damage or utility, then go to Supreme+ to keep her at the center of the Magic Circle for PvP.
