Class Overview
Marksman is one of the classes available in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance. They fulfill the DPS role while wielding a Bow as their weapon of choice. Marksman has access to two specs - Wildpack and Falconry. Below you can find a summary of both, showing their strong and weak sides, how they play and more.

Wildpack focuses on pets, being able to summon up to 3 wolves at once - all of which you can command to deliver huge single-target or AoE damage with your abilities. Wildpack inherits (and enhances) Marksman's core gameplay of building Photon Energy to then enter the Photon Reforge State, which allows us to spam our special attack Storm Arrow infinitely to command our wolves to launch potent coordinated attacks.
Wildpack is both newbie and auto-friendly spec, as it gains so many free stats it doesn’t need much gear. On top of that, the AI plays it well enough, it’s capable of out-dpsing some players trying to play manually. One fatal flaw of getting so many stats early is that it hits diminishing returns far faster than other specs, making its ultra-endgame scaling far less powerful. Keep in mind that with high ping, you will struggle to fit in as many finishers during Volt Surge as low-ping players.

- Must manage Energy between battles to start combat at full power.
- Must remain stationary during the burst window.

Falconry gives up its wolf pet in favor of a bird that only attacks when you critically strike - without high Crit, they’ll spend most of the battle just staring at the screen while nothing happens. Because of this, two things are vital for Falconry: using high hit rate abilities like Radiance Barrage (10-15 hits) and Arrow Rain (10 hits), and maximizing Crit Rate. Falconry also trades in the Photon Reforge state for Quadraflare, which becomes available at max Photon Energy instead and deals high hits and damage.
The spec's gameplay revolves around using most abilities as they become available and spamming basic attacks in downtime. Also, keep in mind that Falconry is weak early due to all its talents and its pet requiring high Crit, making it a less popular choice to begin with. Similar to Wildpack, it can be played mostly on auto.

Cons
- Severely crippled without high Crit Rate.
- Multiple abilities have long animation locks.

Storm Arrow

This skill has 2 charges. When Photon Energy reaches max, Storm Arrow instantly gains 2 Charges, and the max number of charges increases to 5.

Luminary Bolt

[Rooted]: Prevents the enemy from moving. Does not affect bosses. This is a negative effect.

[Summon Wild Wolf]: The summoned Wild Wolf pounces on the current target, dealing Attack Damage to the target and nearby enemies, then joins the battle for 15s before disappearing.
[Summon Falcon]: The summoned Falcon dives in a straight line, dealing Attack Damage to all enemies in its path before disappearing.
Powerdraw

Powerdraw deals a bonus 100% Crit DMG. This skill has 2 charges. No charge time required when under Photon Reforge.

Radiance Barrage

In Photon Reforge state, Photon Energy stops to decline, and more arrows are generated, dealing 50% more Attack Damage.

Blast Shot

Each time when a Class Skill deals Crit DMG, Explosive Arrow gains 1 Charge. At 5 Charges or after 6s, the Explosive Arrow explodes, each Charge increases the DMG of Explosive Arrow by 100%.

Battle Imagines
Important!
Do not choose your Imagines based on your leveling experience. Reaching max level with no Imagines is easy - save crafting them until after you’ve found a spec you enjoy, then choose the best Imagines for it. You can use the freely given Imagines in the meantime.
