Roles
  • DPS - Characters' whose primary role is to deal damage. Includes both Ranged and Melee DPS.
  • Support - Characters whose primary role is to amplify team damage or reduce the enemy damage dealt. Includes Buffers, Debuffers and CC units.
  • Healer - Characters whose primarily role is to keep your Team alive by Healing, Shielding and other means (in Raids Healer role is rated by 'keeping Party alive with minimal Raid Score loss').
  • Tank - Characters whose primary role is to keep your Team alive by tanking the damage dealt by the enemy team.

Ratings explained - PvE Early/Mid and PvE Late
  • S+ - Powerful, versatile units that can be used to brute force almost all Campaign stages and other generalist PvE content. They either possess insane damage output, or they have unrivaled supporting capabilities. They have a comprehensive kit that barely has any weaknesses.
  • S - Strong units featuring remarkable DPS and supportive capability. Best choices to replace units from S+ tiers. They are slightly less usable compared to units in S+, and are used situationally depending on Stage Conditions or Element.
  • A - These units are much more situational compared to their S counterparts but can be used with success if you have no access to better alternatives. They function more as replacements, but can be the Main DPS when it's their own Element or a situation heavily favoring them. Otherwise, their performance is weaker, and pushing with them will not feel as rewarding/comfortable.
  • B - These units are rarely effective, and are technically out of the actual meta for PvE. They cannot compete with the top units, but occasionally might be able to help progress in a stage or two.
  • C - These units are very hard to use and should be replaced as soon as possible.
  • D - Just Don't.
Ratings explained - Raids
  • S+ - Powerful, versatile units that have an insane damage output regardless of Element allowing them to dominate in most Raids or are Universal Supports that can be used in any Raid. (Healer - Greatly Increases Damage)
  • S - Strong units that are often the second choice. They possess impactful damage regardless of Element while excelling in selected few along with Supports that can be highly effective (Healer - Increases DMG).
  • A - Units that have decent DPS in general but can be BiS in certain Elements or have acceptable supportive capability but are secondary to their big sisters in the S rank (Healer - Causes some Damage loss).
  • B - Units that are waiting for that one Raid. Highly specific units that are used when the right time and situation comes. However, in other scenarios, these units will falter (Healer - Causes sizable Damage loss).
  • C - They Exist (Healer - Causes significant Damage loss).
  • D - They Don't.
Ratings explained - PvP
  • S+ - Meta Defining, staple of all PvP rosters. You can say that you are bricked if you don't have one of them. Queens of PvP.
  • S - These units have strong overall performance, and some of them occupy a certain niche where no other units can replace them.
  • A - Units from this tier and below are starting to show weakness when used in PvP. Either they require a specific setup, demand high investments, or are easily counterable.
  • B - These units have average performance but are nowhere near impactful as units above them.
  • C - They have niche uses if at all.
  • D - Just Don't.

PVP Rating Adjustments:

  • Claire: S+ -> A With the recent PVP Changes, Healing has been reduced drastically which means Claire's full healing on incapacitation was affected making her not as effective to prolong fights compared to characters that can put out Shields.
  • Percival: A -> S+Shields seem to be totally unaffected by the recent PVP Changes, Percival being one of the most consistent character to give your entire team Shields has risen to be one of the top choices for PVP.
  • Erin: S -> S+Similar to Percival, She can put out a huge amount of Shield on Ultimate while providing good atk reduction debuff and damage reduction to further prolong the fights.
  • Dian Cecht - Support: A -> S+With Bruiser-meta teams coming to rise, Dian Cecht being a notorious Knight Buffer has had increase in use since she can also provide a consistent amount of Shields while buffing Knights. Her heals remains to be low and even got lower due to the changes but her other Support capability allows her to shine in the current meta.
  • Tiamat: A -> SAlthough Bruiser meta is much more prevelant, Tiamat comps can shine due to the changes with the PVP making her able to survive longer when coupled with other Characters that can help her survive longer like Perci & Galahad.
  • Merlin: A -> SSimilar reason with Tiamat's changes. She can survive longer now and is able to use her CC-focused kit to prolong the fights and delay the enemies Skills.

Rating Adjustments

  • Eva (DPS Raid): S -> S+ Eva has continuously shown to be an excellent sub-dps for both Galahad & Knight Centric comps across the Raid content. Sometimes she can even deal close to Tiamat's damage on Neutral Element Raids. It's a fact that manual play is needed to optimally use her but anyone pushing for high damage scores already plays manual so it's not as much as a downside for Raids.
  • Tristan (Support Raid): S -> AHer usage rate has significantly plummeted ever since the release of NEO Bedivere. She still does a good job with CC but NEO Bedivere just does everything she can do a lot better.
  • Lancelot (Tank Raid): S -> AWith the release of Lohengrin, Knight Team comps prefer the use of Ran over Lancelot because of the difference with their scaling. Lancelot doesn't do enough damage for raids to warrant the usage of her compared to what Ran can bring.
  • Gawain (DPS Raid): AHigh buff count boss Multiplier go brrrrrr. Has made several surprise showings against specific high buff stack bosses in Star Reincarnation, outscoring the usual suspects through sheer multipliers. Be sure to read the fine print though.

Added Eva to the tier list.

Rating Adjustments

  • Dian Cecht Healer PVE (Early/Late): A -> S - With High Investments, Dian can fit both Hybrid and Full Knight Comps in PVE as a sole healer in most cases. The shields and damage reduction she provides helps with mitigating burst damages in PVE.
  • Erin Raid/PVE (Late): S -> S+ The little fluff ball has proven her versatility with the value she brings on both of the popular Raid archetypes. She’s been seen as one of the best support for both Knight Teams and Gala-Tia Teams. Giving both teams an edge with more survivability and damage increase.

Lohengrin Rating Adjustments

  • PvE (Late) S -> S+ - She has stepped up to be the Knight Team's Sustained DPS. Perfect Character to replace Tiamat on Stages that has very high Magic Defense like Abyss 17F.
  • PVP A -> S Although She doesn't have an Invulnerability on her Cheat Death mechannic like Kay's Immortality Passive, She can survive Lancelot's Ultimate and more when partnered with Supports like Claire & Isabel.
  • Raids S -> S+ Her Release has sprouted another Raid Team option other than the classic Tia-Gala. Sometimes even being used together for the consistent sustained damage. Knights Team with the use of Dian and Ran has become a staple in a lot of the current Raids because of her existence.

Isabel - PVE Late / Raids- DPS B -> A - When built with CDMG, she can deal comparble damage to a lot of the good DPS while still being able to provide immense damage buff and survivability from her skills.

23/Aug/2025

Added Lohengrin to the tier list.

11/Aug/2025
  • NeoB (Support) Raised to S+ in Raids. We are seeing a lot more use for NEO B All across daily raids due to her very consistent timing on Root that can cancel out Boss Skills and similar to Merlin's crit chance buff for team.
  • NeoB (Support and Healer) Raised to S in PVP. Same reason with the Raids, her consistent and quick root application is very good to delay opponent's in PVP. Coupled with Healing and a bit of damage she really showed up to be a very versatile character.
  • Percival A (PvE Late and PVP) - The buffs made her an actual good option even in Late game. Not as much as Galahad but a good choice to use as an alternative for more survival. In PVP can help survive Lancelot Nuke a bit.
03/Aug/2025

Vivien has been raised from A to S tier in PVE/Raids, her recent buffs have made her a very strong pick in Root Teams and strong outside them too.

25/Jul/2025

Added Summer Merry to the tier list.

15/Jul/2025

We have added the high investment tag ($) to the characters that require dupes/gear/skill levels/teammates to reach their full potential.

12/Jul/2025

Added Neo Bedivere to the tier list and updated the ratings of Vivien (who was buffed on the Global release) and Anessa. On top of that, we have overhauled the Healer column since Neo Bedivere release changed a lot of things.

  • NeoB for S (PvE Early) - She can function perfectly as a solo healer very early in the game while dishing out damage consistently.
  • Isolde S (PvE Late) - She's seen a lot of use in hard/hell pushes with Lancelot comps due to some comps not using Galahad. She has dmg reduction companied by a good chunky heals.
  • Neo-BEDI S+ (Raid) - She's not a pure healer but she can still heal while doing decent damage, CC and buffing Crit Rate.
  • Isolde - C (Raid). Current meta doesn't really need healer. Bringing her doesn't do anything but survive longer and deal less damage.
