Brid is a provisory B2 support who buffs the ATK of other allies and helps clear the screen of mobs and projectiles. She makes Wind enemies take more damage, boosting everyone's output significantly since Damage Taken is rarely diluted. While this makes her sound like a niche, she is versatile — her presence in Fire-weak Raid will be undeniable and she can be used across other elements where ATK-buffing B2 is desired (or you don't have the better options). ATK-buffing B2 is usually desired when your DPS scales best with it (e.g. MiharaBC, Diesel), but it works well with most units too.
Brid also has decent personal damage, especially against Fire-weak. People might think she is bad because she doesn't buff herself, but this is far from true! As a Shotgun user, she synergizes with Tove and DrakeTr to deal personal damage rivaling Drake's. This is super nice, especially when she goes against Fire-weak and has ELE OL. She also inflicts small damage outside SG Team or Fire-weak, which can give you extra tens of millions damage in Solo Raid (over-optimizing only important for Top 100). Often, this minor boost is what gets you in a higher bracket.
Absolutely. XBrid cements her role as one of the best B2 in Fire-weak Raids and one of the better generic B2 outside. She can be used exclusively as a support (only skill investments are necessary) or as both a support and a semi-DPS (ELE is needed to deal good damage in Fire-weak, especially in SG Team). If you don't invest in her gear, treat her as a support only — pair her with your best DPS to enjoy the highest damage boost.
Outside Solo Raid, she possibly shines in Campaign/Tower stages, where stat penalty exists. As we all know, ATK is king under deficit. XBrid might as well be one of the best B2 to use in Campaign/Tower. Her wipe may not be strong under deficit, but what we're looking for is the insane ATK▲ buff, which approximates to 56% in Attacker's stat. As a bonus, she becomes more effective against Fire-weak mobs; her S1 can apply Damage Taken to the whole screen.
She therefore plays a role in:
Fire-Weak Solo Raid: A crucial unit here.
Fire-Weak Union Raid: Allows you to save MastM for other teams when spending at least one team against Fire-weak. Also the BiS B2 for the 3 Fire Queens (RapiRH, Win Diesel, Mihara).
Generic Fire-Weak Bossing: Can be a key unit, either as an in-burst or off-burst B2, but her position here is challenged by MastM.
Generic Solo Raid: May be a BiS B2 for some Solo Raid comps that are reliant on ATK-buffing.
Elysion Tower: Can be the BiS B2 in Elysion Tower if you don't have MastM and can replace AnchorM in the MastM-AnchorM comp.
Everywhere: An alternative B2 if you don't have the BiS B2 for most Solo Raid comps or even Campaign – good for new players!
Thus, she is a high-value pull, even more useful for newer players than older because of her capacity as a replacement B2. She is one of the units to reroll for if you are starting. For older players, XBrid will be more useful as a damage booster in Fire-weak Raids and in Neutral whenever an ATK-buffing B2 is better than ATK DMG ones. You will be handicapped in Fire-weak Solo Raid until you at least invest in her skills.
If you have to ask this: consider whether you should save for New Year's Pilgrim/Over-spec, who is likely to be more broken. If you already have 200 Mileage or can reach 200 Mileage, continue:
For newer players, XBrid will undoubtedly be more useful because XDiesel is limited to bossing whereas XBrid can be used against everything (including PvP, despite not being the best there). There are also plenty of alternative bossers that are good in Neutral like Liberalio, Rapi: Red Hood, Cinderella, or Mihara: Bonding Chain. If you have Crown, however, or even MastM on top of her, but lack good bossing B3, then XDiesel may be more useful to you until you start building for Solo Raid. If you have all of them, technically she is skippable if you don't mind being limited in Fire-weak Raids.
For older players, it's a toss-up between having another B2 that is 100% meta for Fire-weak and might be meta for some comps – versus a unit that is extremely good at Fire-weak SR and might be a BiS Neutral Filler B3. We think you should get both — stack them Mileage for New Year. They are also seasonal, so you can't afford to be hindered in Fire-weak Raid for that long. If you for some reason don't have enough gems, prioritize the one you think will be used across other elements! XBrid is likely the better option here. That's not something we can certainly predict, however, since the answer depends on what kind of units ShiftUp will release.
Dupes are very useful because XBrid's offensive buff relies on her base ATK stat, but the value of dupes will also be dependent on her usage frequency. If she only gets used a few times, the value will drop, and vice versa. We think XBrid will be meta for Fire-weak for a while and might see use across other elements and content, but the latter is speculative. As for mileage, seasonal units technically impose a higher mileage value than regular units, but don't mileage unless: 1. you don't have enough gems, 2. you still have enough mileage for whatever's on New Year.
■ Activates when entering Full Burst. Affects all Wind Code enemies.
Damage Taken ▲ 15.12% for 10 sec.
This skill allows Brid to continuously (or near-permanently with CDR) apply Damage Taken on all Wind (Fire-weak) enemies on the field.
This is good for Bossing and Mobbing alike because there is no number of targets limitation.
However, it doesn't apply to new mobs that appear after the effect is applied, limiting its performance in continuous wave clearing.
■ Activates when entering Full Burst. Affects all enemies.
Deals 636% of final ATK as damage.
Brid's full-screen damage is automatically triggered upon entering Full Burst. This:
Activates even during off-burst, allowing Brid to be a decent B2 Flex against Fire-weak (especially Bossing).
Since her ATK buff doesn't apply to herself, this wipe might be weaker than you think. However, especially with damage buffs from other supports like B1, she can help clear low-HP mobs and projectiles. This serves the same job as Mari's Burst’s wipe, which has been useful in the past few select Raids, such as Mother Whale.
NOT AFFECTED by other “Upon entering Full Burst” buffs, such as DrakeTr’s S1.
■ Activates after 10 normal attack(s). Affects 1 Wind Code enemy unit(s) with the lowest remaining HP.
Damage Taken ▲ 12.12% for 10 sec.
Upon landing 10 normal attacks, Brid makes one Wind (Fire-weak) enemy with the lowest HP take more damage.
It filters by element first, not HP, so if there are a healthy Wind enemy and a critical Iron enemy, the Wind enemy will take more damage.
It is hardly noticeable in mobbing because the lowest HP enemy can be anything. In 99% of cases, it will make no difference.
For Bossing (solo), the Damage Taken will always hit the boss and be permanent, making it very effective.
For PvP, it's a niche effect that is likely not going to be relevant in most cases.
Because it takes 10 normal attacks, your first Full Burst will likely not receive the full effect of this skill.
■ Activates after 5 normal attack(s). Affects 1 enemy unit(s) with the lowest remaining HP.
Deals 675% of final ATK as damage.
Upon landing 5 normal attacks, Brid also makes the enemy with the lowest HP take a huge chunk of damage.
The skill multiplier for this attack is big and constitutes a significant portion of her damage. It basically increases her basic attack damage by ~40% on an enemy without core.
This, in tandem with S1's wipe and strong normal attack, allows XBrid to become a sub-DPS, especially in SG Teams due to Tove & DrakeTr synergy.
The number is static against enemies of varying distances, which means it improves Brid's minimum damage range.
Can help finish off low-HP mobs or Nikkes in PvP.
Note that the value on the Blablalink website is wrong. Refer to the one in-game.
■ Affects all allies (except self).
ATK ▲ 66.52% of caster’s ATK for 10 sec.
Brid increases the ATK of all allies (except herself) based on her base ATK stat for 10s, which can be considered semi-permanent with CDR.
Buff scales with base ATK stat, which means you should invest in her Gear, Cube, and Doll levels on top of Skill.
The ATK buff is huge for a B2 — actually the highest in game. This makes her a good unit for Campaign to counter stat penalty or in Raid to buff ATK-reliant units such as MiharaBC, XDiesel, HelmTr, or Liberalio.
Unlike Crown’s but like Nayuta’s and MastM’s, her ATK buff applies to ALL units in the team (except herself), which makes her good for 1-1-3 comps (with DPS flex).
The ATK doesn’t affect herself, but this doesn’t matter in most cases. Just makes her S1’s wipe less “dominant” in Campaign and her gross damage elsewhere. She still deals a lot of damage in SG Teams because of her synergy with Tove and DrakeTr.
In Attacker’s value, the ATK buff is equal to 55.43% (higher than Crown’s, lower than RH B1’s), but because the Doll’s and Cube’s stats are static, it is higher in reality. Expect around 56~60% if you are somewhere mid-game or the sync is capped.
Tier List will be finalized after Beta ends, after release changes are announced.
XBrid’s skill on the Surface is a Strike type. It “increases the squad's movement speed by 50% during exploration/non-combat battles”, which whilst not outcome-shaping was a great QoL skill to speed up dailies/clearance and reduce the burden of waiting. She is also the first Fire to have this skill. Because of this, she may be important for building mono-Fire Strike teams post-Beta, especially if you lack the current options Summer Anis, Summer Neon, or Winter Mica. Out of all units who possess the same type of skill, only regular Mica is obtainable all the time. The rest are seasonal, making getting XBrid rewarding for new players & serious team builders.
What matters in Campaign is ATK, ATK, and ATK! That is because stat penalty can only be countered by True Damage or more ATK. Introducing the 20s CD B2 with the highest ATK buff in history, Brid: Silent Track! The value of her ATK buff even beats Crown’s and Nayuta’s, but there is something you should know. ATK buff isn’t everything — while enough ATK = you don’t deal 1 damage, you also need other offensive buffs like ATK DMG to multiply your damage further and survivability support. This makes Crown and Nayuta better than XBrid because, at the end of the day, ATK isn’t everything. It’s the culmination of all.
That said, XBrid is much better than the other B2 options when it comes to pushing under deficit. Sure, she doesn’t provide burst gen like Grave, Mari, or even BAde does, but Crown, Nayuta, and MastM also don’t give one. It’s not a problem — as long as you counterbalance it by introducing other battery units like Helm Treasure, Siren, Red Hood, Liberalio, or Alice.
Overall, XBrid is a valuable unit for Campaign if you don’t have Crown or Nayuta, which might be the case for new players. She can also consistently make Wind mobs take more damage, so she might pull ahead in Fire-weak. Other than that, she (alongside Nayuta) is also valuable to have for 1-1-3 setups (with DPS flex) as Crown doesn’t like 1-1-3 as much as these two do. In Elysion Tower, XBrid can be used to replace AnchorM (XBrid - MastM combo) or as a solo B2 (1-1-3/2-1-2 setup).
XBrid is a valuable unit to have for Fire-weak. Let us explain. When it comes to Bossing, there are only two things that matter: presence in generic Bossing (content that requires only a singular team like Anomaly Interception and Campaign) and Raid (content where multiple teams are needed). XBrid can be used in these two, but her position in generic is more challenged. She can be used in:
In Fire-Weak Raid: XBrid is a hard unit to topple over in Fire-weak. Damage Taken is always a precious buff, so she will never leave us for longer than one year, probably. In Solo Raid specifically, XBrid will be meta and can be paired with your best DPS (Team 1 or 2) solely as a support or in SG teams as a support & DPS if her gear is invested. In Union Raid, she can be run in your Fire team to save Crown/MastM for other comps.
In Neutral Raid: XBrid, despite her authority in Fire-weak, can be used in Neutral if she is paired with units that rely on ATK buffs or ToveTr/DrakeTr for brute-force damage. Units such as MiharaBC and Diesel love ATK buffs, so who knows XBrid will be a Neutral meta in the future? Let’s see if ShiftUp releases more units that want ATK! Note that most units are tolerant as to whether they get ATK or ATK DMG.
In Generic Fire-Weak Bossing: XBrid challenges the position of MastM. Normally, the team looks like Crown + MastM, but XBrid opens up the option of Crown + XBrid. You can also run XBrid alone, which might be good for certain teams that rely a lot on ATK buffs. Do beware of low burst gen issues. If there is a burst gen issue, make sure to use a battery in your team. The simplest one is Siren!
As An Alternative: If you don’t have the BiS B2, you may not have any choice other than using XBrid. She is plug-and-play, so while she may be worse, she is usable. Do compare her effectiveness in a certain team versus other B2 supports.
XBrid can be seen as a better Mari (somewhat) because her buff percentage is higher, and no one cares whether it’s ATK or ATK DMG in PvP. She also doesn’t need to Burst to trigger her wipe, and she can help pressure the enemy with the lowest HP or make any Wind Nikkes take more damage. She is also a Shotgun, which can be annoying to fight against in Champion Arena because SG can attack P1/P5 depending on Offense/Defense status. She is also Fire, which is a dominant element in PvP and doesn’t suffer from increased damage from TVesti. Like DrakeTr, she can also backstab enemy’s Wind units in P1/P5. However, she can also be seen as a worse Mari because she is a Non-Clip SG and therefore feeds. Because of that, while we believe she somewhat has a higher value than Mari, her strengths are mostly niche, so we are placing her in the same rank as Mari – A. She is still used in CA because she can be run as a Poli replacement (popular in SG Teams).
If you use XBrid as a:
Support Only: You don’t need to reroll. Just overload Helmet, Vest, and Gloves and level them up as highly as possible without ruining your Credits’ health. +3 is good for Vest and Gloves, +5 for Helmet.
DPS & Support: You need good OL lines. Aim for ELE mainly (because she’s mostly only relevant there), but ATK is good (often diluted in SG Teams, though). You may need 1-3× Max Ammo for better uptime and damage.
Ideal: 4× ELE, 4× ATK, 1-3× Max Ammo
Filler: 4× Crit Rate, 4× Crit Damage, 1-3× Max Ammo
Priority: Low (Boss)
Note: Only reroll her OL if you care about her damage in Fire-weak SR (paired with SG team). Focus on ELE first and foremost because SG Team already has too much ATK. Get Max Ammo for increased uptime and thus damage.
Skill 1: 10
Makes all Wind enemies take more damage.
Increases wipe damage.
Good for both Mobbing and Bossing.
Only substantial against Wind (Fire-weak) enemies, otherwise useless.
Skill 2: 10
Makes only one Wind enemy take more damage, so less supportive versatility than S1. It also has a lower percentage too.
Yet, this skill boosts her single-target damage more than S1. Because of that, it is more Neutral-friendly, although only her Burst matters in Neutral.
Harder to utilize in PvP because the Damage Taken is singular, and it takes 10 shots to activate it. It’s better suited for Bossing. However, you might want the damage increase for “deal damage to the target with the lowest HP”.
Only useful for Bossing in most cases.
Burst Skill: 10
If she is Bursting, which she most likely is, you need Burst at Lv. 10 for maximum impact. Must upgrade for Mobbing, Bossing, or PvP.
Otherwise, even 1 is fine.
Matters against Wind (Fire-weak) and Neutral.
Arguably the most important out of the three, but all of them have the same priority (except you are using her in Neutral only for now, then you can defer upgrading S1/S2 until you use her in Fire-weak).
Use Bastion if used in SG Teams (usually the case for Fire-weak Solo Raid). Use Resilience in Reload Speed teams. Otherwise, it doesn’t really matter — except that Resilience is more consistent for activating S2 (but both can keep her Damage Taken▲ permanently). Use Destruction if the boss has exposed parts that she can hit consistently with normal attack.
In PvP, Tempering (mainly) or Vigor can be used to improve her survivability. Quantum can be used if you lack slight burst gen to reach the next RL threshold.
In both game modes, if Brid is Bursting, Cube level becomes important because her Burst’s ATK buff scales off her base ATK stat.
Brid’s Burst’s ATK buff scales off base ATK stat, so Doll is of utmost importance. She is also an SG, which means her personal DPS scales with Doll’s Weapon Skill.
The B2 with the highest ATK buff in every rotation; can be used with anyone but is great for ATK-reliant B3, such as MiharaBC, Win Diesel, HelmTr, and Liberalio.
High synergy with meta units such as MiharaBC and XDiesel.
Can be used only as a support or as a support + sub-DPS.
Can go off-burst for the Damage Taken only, but consider whether the other B2 going off-burst is better.
Good personal damage, especially against Fire-weak and when paired with ToveTr & DrakeTr.
Screen wipe can help clear low-HP mobs & Nikkes in PvP, as well as projectiles.
Strong Fire unit that may maintain value in Neutral, especially for new players who lack better B2.
Usable in Campaign/Tower, particularly Elysion Tower, because ATK buff is king under deficit and offsets stat penalty.
In Neutral, only Burst Skill matters in most cases, allowing you to save some materials.
Like Nayuta’s and MastM’s, ATK buff applies to the whole team, not only the ones Bursting; good for 1-1-3 comps (with DPS flex).
Damage Taken is a glorious buff because it’s rarely diluted — and therefore can be considered a raw multiplier; good for units who can’t already scale with other buffs that well, such as Rapi: Red Hood.
Brid looks… so beautiful!
Her ATK buff is dependent on base ATK stat, which means Gear, Cube, and Doll levels are important.
Her Burst doesn’t affect herself (and her Wipe damage).
Most of her skills work only against Fire-weak.
Requires gear investments for personal DPS. ELE mainly because ATK is already diluted in SG Teams.
For optimum assistance in Fire-weak, you must invest in all 3 Skills.
Many units scale better with ATK DMG-category buffs than ATK. That is because ATK OL dilutes ATK. Read your DPS’s kits and pair them with the most fitting supports.
She can’t provide burst gen support as much as BAde, Grave, or Mari.

Notes
Focus on S1 for supportive effects against Wind (Fire-weak); focus on S2 for personal damage and team damage against Fire-weak bosses; must upgrade Burst Skill if she is Bursting in any game content and against any element. While Burst Skill is most important, all of them are of similar priority, except if you are not against Fire-weak.
This Overload (OL) Recommendations and Priority guide unravels in detail everything you need about a character in terms of priority, overload targets (effects), and order of acquisition, alongside some notes to explain our thinking process.
For OL targets and order of acquisition, we decided to divide the target effects into several categories.
Overload effects are ordered by importance from Left to Right, which means anything on the left provides more value than the right. Effects that belong to the same group generate too similar an impact to make a difference (and are sometimes interchangeable). Try to follow this order as faithfully as possible for maximum mileage.

Most of her amplification comes from ATK buff, which scales off caster’s base ATK. She also scales well with Weapon Skill. Damage Taken Reduction may be needed in healerless teams, which is common for SG Teams.
